Horstemeyer to be honored by two national organizations

Dr. Mark F. Horstemeyer, a chair professor in mechanical engineering, will be recognized as Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) Engineering Section at its annual meeting in February.
Prof. Horstemeyer will receive the same honor from the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) International at an April ceremony. These honors bring his total Fellow titles to four, an unprecedented accomplishment within the college. He earned Fellow status for ASM International in 2010 and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers in 2006.
