Mago selected as the 2013 Outstanding Faculty Researcher for the BCoE

Dr. Pedro Mago, associate professor in mechanical engineering, is the recipient of the 2013 Bagley College of Engineering Outstanding Faculty Research Award. His research has been on energy systems and he is currently focused on combined heat and power (CHP) systems, building energy simulation, and waste heat recovery technologies. He has have been principal investigator and co-principal investigator on several projects totaling over $12 million and he has published over 120 journal articles, conference papers, and technical reports. Currently, he serves as Director of the Micro-CHP and Bio-Fuel Center at Mississippi State University and Co-Director of the US DOE Southeast Clean Energy Application Center.
