ME Ph.D student was named the Grand Champion at MSU’s 3MT competition

Congratulations to Mukti Patel, a ME Ph.D. student, who was named the Grand Champion at MSU’s 3MT competition on Thursday, Nov. 20. Her research talk was on “Designing Third Generation Steel for Future Ground Vehicles.” She will advance to a Southeastern Conference competition.
Also, congratulations to Aamir Sohail, a ME Master student, who was selected as one of nine finalists in the competition. His research talk was on “Dual Injection Strategies for Diesel Engine Combustion.”
The ME Department is proud of both of them!
