ME Undergraduate Seminar Series

Sponsored by GTI

In Fall 2016, the Michael W. Hall School of Mechanical Engineering established the Mechanical Engineering Undergraduate Seminar Series to provide information to our mechanical engineering students about different career paths in mechanical engineering and help them to set their career goals. The ME Undergraduate Seminar Series was established with the strong support of the ME Advisory Board.

In Spring 2019, with a generous donation from the Gas Technology Institute, an endowment was established to support the Mechanical Engineering Undergraduate Seminar Series.  The Gas Technology Institute (GTI) Endowment was established in honor to Edward “Eddie” Johnston, who graduated with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from MSU in 1992.  GTI is a leading research, development and training organization addressing energy and environmental challenges to enable a secure, abundant, and affordable energy future.  For more than 75 years, GTI has been providing economic value to the natural gas industry and energy markets by developing technology-based solutions for industry, government, and consumers.  The school would like to extend its appreciation to GTI for their generous support of this series.
