Research Summary

     Dr. Felicelli’s research is in the area of computational modeling of solidification phenomena, with particular application to solidification processes relevant to the aerospace and automotive industries.  Dr. Felicelli is the author of the finite element code MULTIA, which is used to simulate the formation of solidification defects like macrosegregation and porosity in multicomponent alloys.
