Dr. Krishnan promoted to Associate Professor with tenure

Congratulations to Dr. Sundar Krishnan, who was promoted to Associate Professor with tenure, effective Fall 2014.
Dr. Krishnan’s research is focused on experimental and computational investigations of advanced low temperature combustion concepts and renewable alternative fuels for improving fuel conversion efficiencies and power densities of future internal combustion (IC) engines, while simultaneously reducing pollutant emissions. He has published over 40 peer-reviewed journal and conference papers and has advised or co-advised 17 M.S. and Ph.D. students. He is actively involved with the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) IC Engines Division and the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE). He has also served as the faculty advisor for the MSU Chapter of ASME.
