Student wins MSU Scholarship
Alta Knizley, a Ph.D. student in Mechanical Engineering has been awarded the MSU Women’s Club Scholarship for the Summer 2010 semester. The MSU Women’s Club scholarship is presented to female graduate students in any discipline who demonstrate quality in academics, leadership, and service.
Student receives NSF Fellowship
Ph.D. student Ratessiea (Tessa) Lett, has received a Graduate Research Fellowship by the National Science Foundation. These highly competitive awards provide $41,500/year of discretionary funding during three years. Tessa was selected by her work on Modeling Solidification Defects in Castings.
