Dr. Liu received funding for education research and curriculum development

Congratulations to Dr. Yucheng Liu who received a grant of $4,000 from the University of Mississippi with the support of the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation. This funding will support Dr. Liu’s effort of integrating open educational resources into the course “ME 4643 Introduction of Vibrations and Control.” He is planning to revamp this course by taking advantage of open educational resources to prepare the notes, examples, and projects. The goal of Dr. Liu’s project is to develop a curriculum that best meets the course objectives and student needs. It is expected that the revised course will be offered in Fall of 2017.
