Liu presented invited lectures to several universities in China

This summer, Dr. Yucheng Liu visited three higher education and research institutions in China, the School of Aeronautics at Northwestern Polytechnical University (NPU) in Xi’an, the Institute of Mechanics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in Beijing, and Yulin Normal University in Yulin. The NPU’s School of Aeronautics ranks No. 1 among all aerospace, aeronautical, and astronautical engineering programs in China, while the Institute of Mechanics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences is the first national institution for mechanics research in China.
During his visits, Dr. Liu gave invited lectures to faculty, graduate students, and scientists disseminating his recent research progress on electroplastic behavior of ductile metals. In addition, Dr. Liu discussed potential research collaboration with these institutions and Mississippi State University.
