Liu selected to receive a SEC visiting faculty travel grant

Congratulations to Dr. Yucheng Liu who was selected to receive a Southeastern Conference (SEC) Visiting Faculty Travel Grant.
Dr. Liu will be visiting the Mechanical Engineering (ME) Department and the Advanced Computational Mechanics Laboratory (ACML) at Texas A&M in October. During his visit, Dr. Liu will meet with faculty, researchers, and students in the ME department to talk about his current research on multiscale investigation of the process-structure-property-performance relations of materials using integrated computational materials engineering. Dr. Liu will also discuss with ACML researchers about formulating a plan to establish a long-term collaboration with ACML.
The SEC Visiting Faculty Travel Grant Program is intended to enhance collaboration that stimulates scholarly initiatives between universities. This program offers faculty members from each SEC university the opportunity to travel to other SEC universities to exchange ideas, develop grant proposals, and conduct research.
