ME Undergraduate Student won BCoE Publication Award

Congratulations to John Fairley, mechanical engineering undergraduate student, who won the Bagley College of Engineering undergraduate student publication award. He is currently doing research with Dr. Scott Thompson and is focusing on the thermal analysis of oscillating heat pipes. They recently published a journal paper in the International Journal of Thermal Sciences. The title of the paper is: “Time–frequency analysis of flat-plate oscillating heat pipes.” John was the only undergraduate student recognized for publishing as lead author in the Spring 2015 ceremony.
